چکیده

The performance of DSVD was evaluated using simulated data encompassing the following 16 different types of structural variations (SVs): 1. Small insertions (of length l ∼ N (15, 3), where N (μ, σ) is a Normal distribution with mean μ and standard deviation σ.) 2. Small deletions (l ∼ N (15, 3)) 3. Deletions (l ∼ N (1000, 100)) 4. Inversions (l ∼ N (1000, 100)) 5. Tandem duplications (l ∼ N (1000, 100)) 6. Insertional duplications (l ∼ N (1000, 100)) according to the following 6 subtypes:

A Deterministic Analysis of Genome Integrity during Neoplastic Growth in Drosophila

The development of cancer has been associated with the gradual acquisition of genetic alterations leading to a progressive increase in malignancy. In various cancer types this process is enabled and accelerated by genome instability. While genome sequencing-based analysis of tumor genomes becomes increasingly a standard procedure in human cancer research, the potential necessity of genome insta...

اکسیدازها و مقاومت به حشره کش های پیرترویید در حشرات مهم پزشکی

MFÔs are a large diverse superfamily of enzymes found in all insect tissues. They are involved in the metabolism of xenobiotics (e.g. drugs, pesticides and plant toxins) and endogenous compounds (e.g. ecdysteroids and juvenile hormones). They are also involved in bioactivation of phosphorothioate compounds such as organophosphorus insecticides. They have very diverse activities like hydroxyla...

Rab11 is required for maintenance of cell shape via βPS integrin mediated cell adhesion in Drosophila

In eukaryotes, vesicle trafficking is regulated by the small monomeric GTPases of the Rab protein family. Rab11, (a subfamily of the Ypt/Rab gene family) an evolutionarily conserved, ubiquitously expressed subfamily of small monomeric Rab GTPases, has been implicated in regulating vesicular trafficking through the recycling of endosomal compartment. In an earlier communication, we have shown th...

Control Theory and Economic Policy Optimization: The Origin, Achievements and the Fading Optimism from a Historical Standpoint

Economists were interested in economic stabilization policies as early as the 1930’s but the formal applications of stability theory from the classical control theory to economic analysis appeared in the early 1950’s when a number of control engineers actively collaborated with economists on economic stability and feedback mechanisms. The theory of optimal control resulting from the contributio...

I-10: Transcriptomics in Oocyte Mediated Cellular Reprogramming

a:4:{s:10:"Background";s:1707:"Early embryonic development in mammals begins in transcriptional silence with an oocyte-mediated transcriptional reprogramming of parental gametes occurs during a so called across-the-board process of “erase-and-rebuild”. In this process, the parental transcription programs are erased long before (maternal) or soon thereafter (paternal) fertilization to generate a...
